Seniors are stressed. They are frantic as they try to finish up the last week of their undergraduate education, knowing that the end is near. But they are also excited! There’s an overwhelming positive energy in the air as they pick up their caps & gowns and begin to pose in all the traditional spots on campus. These images along with all of the memories they’ve made over the past 4 years will remain in their hearts and minds for years to come.
It is this energy that fills the rest of us with anticipation not only for the futures of these seniors, but also the incoming freshmen class who will soon fill their shoes on campus.

Let’s have a FESTA! Come learn about the language, music, geography and food of Brazil! There will also be a presentation from an American student that studied abroad in Brazil for a year and a student from Brazil studying at FSU. There will be some tasty Brazilian treats and plenty of students to socialize with from the Portuguese Language Club and Science Without Borders Program! The evening will end with a special surprise. This is your chance to travel to Brazil without having to buy a plane ticket! This event counts as an educational, experiential, or social/cultural activity for your Global Pathways Certificate!
